Kathleen Rooney is interviewed about her new project Rene Magritte: Selected Writings in Hyperallergic.
Meghan Phillips’ “Potential Energy is Stored for the Future” has won (b)OINK’s 2017 Postcard Poetry Contest. She is also featured on Episode 5 of Fear No Lit’s “Show Your Work” podcast.
Kristine Langley Mahler published two essays: “I Will Not Die For You” in The Rumpus and an erasure piece in issue 6.2 of Storm Cellar.
Melissa Goode had a busy September, with “Butterscotch” appearing in Reflex Fiction, “Their Wings Outstretched and Wide” in Literary Orphans, “Michael Stipe Knows Everything” in WhiskeyPaper, and “The Body of a Man” in Lost Balloon.
Cathy Ulrich's “What a Headless Boy Would See” appears at jmww and “Maybe in the Clouds, Maybe in the Stars” appears in Hypertrophic Literary.
Flash reader Lori Sambol Brody's story “The Girls at the Kaiulani Resort” also appears in Hypertrophic Literary.
Alina Stefanescu has two poems, “Marital Milestone" and “At the Buddhist Poetry Reading," and a story, “Thirty Minutes, ” in Issue 18 of Flock.
Poetry reader Bob Sykora has a poem, “Fixer Upper,” in The Shallow Ends.
