M’Bilia Meekers is a queer black poet from New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her MFA from New York University and you can find her verse in the New Yorker, Guernica, Best New Poets, Arc Poetry Magazine, Tinderbox, The Adroit Journal, Foglifter, and more. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
